Platino was born in 1998 as a company manufacturing fashion ties, scarves, and accessories and from some years we developed also fabrics for clothing the best from the tradition and outstanding creativity of the Como textile district.

The production signed Platino has preserved the scrupolous attention to the quality of the raw materials and the cared manifacture, still today rigorously handicraft.

The range was always extremenly sophisticated: the best silks from the Como looms, colors and patterns of unique quality.

Environmental Sustainability

Platino attention to environmental sustainability is supported by the choice, from the production to the sale of the product, of materials with low impact on the environment preserving for the next generations the same amount of resources available to us today and, by the use of the most advanced technology for a lower environmental impact.

Its sales activity has been mainly oriented towards the international markets also focusing on the even more demanding Italian market, and also Platino have a good cooperation with famous Italian brand.

Platino has a really production capacity and a remarkable care for creativity. A style department is entirely devoted to the development of collections, designs and colorways, as well as to the continuous processing of the latest fashion trends and search for new materials.

PLATINO’s ties and scarves are characterized by the class and elegance. We use only highly selected and high quality fabrics, such as silk, cachemire, wool and linen , which are produced by the best weaving mills.

A style department is fully dedicated to the developments of collections, designs and colors as well as to the use of the latest fashion trends and to the research of new materials in this constantly evolving market.

Throughout the years Platino has always been a trustworthy partner to its customers, offering the most personalized and made to measure service possible.

PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

The style proposal are offered both independently or based on the customer inputs. The next steps that bring to the designs selection and then to the colors options are first discussed together with the customer to maximize their expectations and then developed entirely by our style department.

It then continues with the total management of the production process together with our trustworthy suppliers that have been carefully selected throughout the years, and with the final making process carefully done by the laboratory (factory) and ends with the delivery of the finished product.
